Pot rack is up

Okay project one…put up the pot rack.

Step one…I needed the toggle bolts  as per Curt’s recommendation.  I went to Lowe’s and told the guy what I wanted.  He asked me why those specifically and I told him Curt told me to buy them.  He said well okay if “Curt” said so you better go by his recommendation. I rolled my eyes at his sarcasm and told him that Victoria’s husband Paul seconded it.  He said okaaaaay and sold me the darn togglers. People in the store think they know so much…when I need their advice the answer is always “this is not my department”  “whatever you like”

The instructions said to use a half inch drill bit.  I have a 120 piece Ryobi drill bit thingy kit and none of them are 1/2″.  I had to use this whatchamacallit instead.  That made me a bit nervous.

Okay so then they tell you to put the toggler in the hole and slide the plastic hole down to the wall…

Then you snap off the straps.  Wow that was so friggin easy.  I hung the rack up.

The only thing I did not like is that the bolt head is not as big as the one that came with the pot rack and I could not use the original bolt and it was kindda shakey.

Then I realized I forgot to use the washer that came with it.  Duhhhh

I fixed it.  You know what they say….when all else fails follow the directions.  It feels nice and snug up against the wall now.

I’m sorry guys but I gotta wear  the button

  2. I obviously like your web site since I read it every day but you need to check the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I in finding it very troublesome to tell the reality on the other hand Iˇll certainly come again again.

    • LOL it says in the bible something about looking in the mirror and getting the log out of your own eye before you talk about the log in anothers. Thanks for the chuckle
