I have been giving my Cameo quite a little workout lately with all the projects and all the mucked up “test” runs. I noticed the last time I cut the cuts were not clean. I wrote Silhouette to ask them how do I know if the blade is dull or not but so far I have not received an answer. (I think I just asked them last night via facebook). So I played with it to see if perhaps the blade was gooked up with glue.
I twisted the little blue handle to the left to release the blade then put it in the adjuster and adjusted to 0.
I played around for a minute when I noticed the very bottom white piece unscrews. YES. And just as I suspected it was gooked up. I cleaned the blade and it cuts good again!! Good thing I am cheap or I would have just thrown it away and used my spare.
Here are the instructions:
Good to go!!
Do you have a Silhouette Cameo?
