So remember how I mentioned that 3 years ago I was going to close in a window and move my stove and that spurred on a full fledged renovation? Well I feel a de ja vu coming on!
I have to get some paint for the additions when it gets to that time AND I hate the current color of my house…
Correction. I LOVE the color I just hate it on my house. So since I have to get the new parts of the house painted it is as good a time as any to repaint the house. I went on Sherwin Williams website and they have this super easy tool to paint your own photos. I chose to outline the areas and then fill with paint. It was super easy BUT (there is always a but) there was one problem. Sometimes I would make a mistake and in trying to correct it I would accidentally erase everything and I would have to outline the areas all over again. I did this several times in a few minutes. That was a pain. But when it was working good all I had to do was outline the areas I wanted to paint, then tap the magic wand over the photo and bam, my colors that I chose were right there.
Here are my choices now:
1 matches the chimney but uhhhh…ugly
2 I think I like the two tone effect
3 not bad
4 makemepuke green LOL
5liked this a couple of years ago but I am so over a red house.
6 would never paint a house black but I actually do like it and it would make my flowers pop
7- close to the first color that I had to repaint. Turns out so far it was the best color.
8 My favorite of all
9 Like this color but will probably not use it
10 would hate this one after time…just like the current color…too close for comfort
What is your choice? I am liking #8 the darkest brown and I kind of like #6 the charcoal gray. My mother would be rolling in her grave if I painted my house any shade of black though. She would say it will bring bad karma to the house.
